Au Gratin Potatoes Recipe
Classic, creamy, and cheesy potatoes au gratin.

Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and milk to the saucepan. Heat until just about to boil, then remove from heat.
Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
