Ingredients

Filling

  • 3 pcs Potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1 cup Green peas boiled
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and oil. Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add mashed potatoes, green peas, garam masala, coriander powder, chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin oval shape. Cut it in half to form two semi-circles.
  5. Take one semi-circle, fold it into a cone shape, and seal the edge with water. Fill the cone with the potato mixture and seal the top edge.
  6. Place the samosas on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
