Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 3 cups potatoes, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, sauté the onions and carrots until tender.
  3. 3. Add the potatoes, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour. Cook for a minute, then gradually whisk in the milk. Cook until thickened.
  5. 5. Add the milk mixture to the pot along with the cooked ground beef. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and well combined.
  6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!
