- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 ½ cups corn kernels fresh or canned
- 2 tablespoon chopped green onions
- ¼ cup vegetable oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
Add milk and beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
Fold in corn kernels and chopped green onions.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Spoon batter into the pan, forming small fritters. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
