  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  2. 2. Add the broccoli and broth. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the broccoli is tender.
  3. 3. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  4. 4. Return the soup to the pot, stir in the cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Heat through and serve hot.
