  • 500 grams Ash Gourd peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 pieces Green Chilies slit
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat coconut oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add the cubed ash gourd and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk and add salt to taste. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat until the ash gourd is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with rice or roti.
