Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almonds soaked overnight
  • 4 cups Milk
  • ½ cup Sugar adjust to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • A few strands Saffron optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak almonds overnight. Peel them the next day.
  2. 2. Blend the almonds with a little milk to make a smooth paste.
  3. 3. Boil the remaining milk in a saucepan. Add the almond paste and stir well.
  4. 4. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve hot or chilled.
