Indian Besan Halwa Recipe
A traditional Indian dessert made from gram flour, ghee, and sugar.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Besan (gram flour)
- ½ cup Ghee
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoon Chopped nuts (optional)
Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat.
Add besan and roast until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
In a separate pot, dissolve sugar in water and bring to a boil.
Slowly add the sugar syrup to the roasted besan, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Cook until the halwa thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm.
