Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 grams Okra (Bhindi) Washed and cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 cup Onion Chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
  4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the chopped okra and mix well. Cook on medium heat until the okra is tender.
  6. Serve hot with roti or rice.
