Ingredients

  • 500 g Potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. Add turmeric powder and red chili powder. Stir well.
  4. Add the cubed potatoes and salt. Mix well to coat the potatoes with the spices.
  5. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
