Indian Cabbage Poriyal
A simple and delicious South Indian stir-fry made with cabbage, coconut, and spices.

Main Ingredients
- 1 medium Cabbage shredded
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Urad Dal
- 2 nos Green Chilies slit
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- ¼ cup Grated Coconut
- to taste Salt
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add urad dal, green chilies, asafoetida, and curry leaves. Sauté for a minute.
Add shredded cabbage and salt. Mix well.
Cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes until cabbage is tender.
Add grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve hot as a side dish.
