Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium Cabbage shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Urad Dal
  • 2 nos Green Chilies slit
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 sprig Curry Leaves
  • ¼ cup Grated Coconut
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add urad dal, green chilies, asafoetida, and curry leaves. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add shredded cabbage and salt. Mix well.
  4. Cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  5. Add grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot as a side dish.
