Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chana Dal soaked for 2 hours
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Ghee
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Chopped Nuts almonds, cashews, etc.

Instructions 

  1. Drain the soaked chana dal and blend it into a coarse paste.
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and add the chana dal paste. Cook on medium heat until it turns golden brown.
  3. Add milk and cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add sugar and continue to cook until the halwa leaves the sides of the pan.
  5. Stir in cardamom powder and chopped nuts. Serve warm.
