Indian Chawli ki Sabzi (Lobia Sabzi) Recipe
A simple and delicious Indian dish made with black-eyed peas.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Black-eyed peas (Lobia) soaked overnight
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 cup Onion finely chopped
- 1 cup Tomato finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoon Cilantro chopped, for garnish
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
6. Add soaked black-eyed peas and mix well.
7. Add 2 cups of water, cover, and cook until the peas are tender.
8. Add garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.
9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
