Main Ingredients
- 500 g Okra (Bhindi) washed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup Yogurt whisked
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the cut okra and sauté until they are cooked and slightly crispy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
Lower the heat and add the whisked yogurt. Stir continuously to avoid curdling.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the yogurt is well incorporated and the gravy thickens.
Sprinkle garam masala on top and mix well. Serve hot with roti or rice.
