Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 pieces Drumsticks cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 2 medium Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  5. Add drumstick pieces and stir to coat them with the spices.
  6. Pour in coconut milk and add salt to taste. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, until drumsticks are tender.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
