Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Drumstick leaves washed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Urad dal
  • 2 Dry red chilies broken
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add urad dal, dry red chilies, and asafoetida. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the drumstick leaves and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they wilt.
  4. Add grated coconut and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot as a side dish.
