Indian French Beans with Coconut Recipe
A simple and delicious Indian-style French beans recipe with coconut.

- 500 g French beans trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup Grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 units Green chilies slit
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add cumin seeds, green chilies, and asafoetida. Sauté for a minute.
Add the French beans and salt. Mix well.
Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans are tender.
Add grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot as a side dish.
