Indian Green Peas Sundal Recipe
A simple and healthy South Indian dish made with green peas, coconut, and spices.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Green peas fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Urad dal
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 2 units Green chilies slit
- ¼ cup Grated coconut
- to taste Salt
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add urad dal, asafoetida, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
Add the green peas and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes until peas are tender.
Mix in the grated coconut and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve warm.
