Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Cashew nuts raw
- ½ cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Ghee clarified butter
- ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
1. Blend the cashew nuts into a fine powder.
2. In a non-stick pan, add sugar and water. Cook until the sugar dissolves completely.
3. Add the cashew powder to the sugar syrup. Mix well to avoid lumps.
4. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
5. Add ghee and cardamom powder. Mix well.
6. Transfer the mixture onto a parchment paper. Let it cool slightly.
7. Roll the mixture with a rolling pin to a ¼ inch thickness.
8. Cut into diamond shapes and let it cool completely before serving.
