Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Fish cut into pieces
  • 100 g Bamboo Shoot (Khorisa) fermented
  • 2 tablespoon Mustard Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat mustard oil in a cooking pot.
  2. 2. Add turmeric powder and red chili powder. Stir for a few seconds.
  3. 3. Add fish pieces and fry until lightly browned.
  4. 4. Add fermented bamboo shoot (khorisa) and mix well.
  5. 5. Pour in water and bring to a boil.
  6. 6. Add salt to taste and simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. 7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
