Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 grams Khoya
  • 50 grams All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon Milk as needed
  • 500 grams Sugar for syrup
  • 300 ml Water for syrup
  • 4 pods Cardamom crushed
  • as needed Oil or ghee for deep frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, crumble the khoya. Add all-purpose flour and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. Add milk little by little to form a soft dough. Do not over-knead.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls, ensuring there are no cracks.
  4. Heat oil or ghee in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the balls until golden brown.
  5. In another pan, prepare the sugar syrup by boiling sugar, water, and cardamom until slightly thickened.
  6. Soak the fried balls in the warm sugar syrup for at least 2 hours before serving.
