Indian Kolhapuri Misal Recipe

- 1 cup Sprouted Moth Beans (Matki)
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 cup Onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup Tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoon Kolhapuri Masala
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Farsan (Indian Savory Snack Mix)
- 1 cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 cup Chopped Onions
- 1 cup Lemon Wedges
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and Kolhapuri masala. Mix well.
Add sprouted moth beans and mix well.
Add water and salt to taste. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
Once cooked, serve hot topped with farsan, chopped onions, coriander leaves, and lemon wedges.
