Ingredients

  • 500 g Okra (Bhindi) sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoon Gram flour (Besan)
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • to taste Salt
  • for frying Oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Wash and dry the okra. Slice them thinly.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced okra, gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan. Once hot, fry the okra in batches until crispy and golden brown.
  4. 4. Remove the fried okra using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  5. 5. Serve hot as a side dish or snack.
