Ingredients

  • 500 grams Spinach
  • 10 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala

Instructions 

  1. 1. Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 2 minutes, then transfer to ice water.
  2. 2. Blend the spinach into a smooth puree.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  4. 4. Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden brown.
  5. 5. Add the spinach puree, salt, and garam masala. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve hot with roti or rice.
