Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lentils rinsed
  • 2 cups Spinach chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. 3. Add minced garlic, cumin, and turmeric. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Add rinsed lentils and water. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until lentils are tender.
  6. 6. Stir in chopped spinach and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Season with salt to taste and serve warm.
