Dough

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • as needed Water to knead

Filling

  • 2 cups Boiled Potatoes mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander Leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour and salt. Add oil and mix well. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. For the filling, heat a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add mashed potatoes, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix. Let it cool.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out each portion into a small circle. Place a spoonful of filling in the center, bring the edges together, and seal. Roll out again gently into a paratha.
  4. Heat a tawa or skillet. Cook the paratha on both sides until golden brown, applying a little oil or ghee as needed.
  5. Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
