Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Ghee
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • as needed Water

Filling

  • 1 cup Green peas boiled and mashed
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • for frying Oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix flour, ghee, and salt. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Cover and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add ginger paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. 3. Add mashed peas, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes. Let it cool.
  4. 4. Divide dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a small circle, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and seal the edges.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the kachoris on medium heat until golden brown. Serve hot.
