Indian Methi Matar Malai Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Fenugreek leaves (Methi) chopped
- 1 cup Green peas (Matar) fresh or frozen
- 1 cup Cream (Malai)
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
- 2 medium Tomatoes pureed
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- to taste Salt
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add chopped fenugreek leaves and green peas. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add cream and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
