Indian Pav Bhaji Recipe
A popular Indian street food made with a spicy vegetable mash served with buttered bread rolls.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Chopped Onions
- 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
- 2 cups Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
- 1 cup Green Peas
- 2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 2 teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- to taste Salt
- 8 Pav (Bread Rolls)
- as needed Chopped Coriander Leaves for garnish
- as needed Lemon Wedges for serving
Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
Add chopped bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add boiled and mashed potatoes, green peas, pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Cook for 10-15 minutes, mashing the vegetables occasionally.
In a separate pan, toast the pav with butter until golden brown.
Garnish the bhaji with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with toasted pav and lemon wedges.
