Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
  • 2 cups Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Green Peas
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 8 Pav (Bread Rolls)
  • as needed Chopped Coriander Leaves for garnish
  • as needed Lemon Wedges for serving

Instructions 

  1. Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  5. Add chopped bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add boiled and mashed potatoes, green peas, pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  7. Cook for 10-15 minutes, mashing the vegetables occasionally.
  8. In a separate pan, toast the pav with butter until golden brown.
  9. Garnish the bhaji with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with toasted pav and lemon wedges.
