Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 liter Milk
  • ½ cup Rice washed and drained
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 2 tablespoons Cashew nuts broken
  • 2 tablespoons Raisins

Instructions 

  1. Heat ghee in a saucepan and fry cashew nuts and raisins until golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add washed rice and fry for a minute.
  3. Add milk and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until rice is cooked and the mixture thickens.
  4. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fried cashew nuts and raisins. Serve warm or chilled.
