Indian Railway Lamb Curry Recipe
A flavorful lamb curry inspired by the traditional dishes served on Indian Railways.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Lamb, cubed
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 1 large Onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 2 teaspoon Cumin Powder
- 2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 400 g Tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup Water
- to taste Salt
- to taste Fresh Cilantro, chopped
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
Add cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala. Stir well.
Add lamb and cook until browned on all sides.
Add tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until lamb is tender.
Season with salt and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
