Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Rava (Semolina)
- ½ cup Curd (Yogurt)
- ½ cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Chopped Green Chilies
- 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon Eno (Fruit Salt)
In a bowl, mix rava, curd, and water to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilies, and grated ginger. Sauté for a minute.
Add the sautéed mixture to the batter. Add chopped coriander leaves and salt. Mix well.
Just before making the appe, add Eno to the batter and mix gently.
Heat the appe pan and grease it with a little oil. Pour the batter into each cavity.
Cook on medium heat until the edges turn golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until done.
Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
