Indian Sama ke Chawal ki Khichdi Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Sama ke Chawal
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Rock Salt or to taste
- 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
- 1 unit Green Chili chopped
- 2 units Potatoes peeled and diced
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add grated ginger and chopped green chili, sauté for a minute.
Add diced potatoes and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add sama ke chawal and mix well.
Add water and rock salt. Stir well.
Close the lid and cook on medium heat for 2 whistles.
Let the pressure release naturally. Open the lid and fluff the khichdi with a fork.
