  • 500 g Sem ki phali (broad beans)
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add the sem ki phali (broad beans) and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add water, cover the pan, and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the beans are tender.
  6. Serve hot with roti or rice.
