Indian Semiya Kesari Recipe
A delicious and simple Indian dessert made with vermicelli, sugar, and ghee.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Vermicelli
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Ghee
- 2 cups Water
- ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 1 pinch Saffron strands optional
- 2 tablespoon Cashews chopped
- 2 tablespoon Raisins
Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and roast the vermicelli until golden brown. Set aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining ghee and fry the cashews and raisins until golden. Set aside.
Boil water in the pan, add the roasted vermicelli, and cook until soft.
Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Mix well and cook until the sugar dissolves completely.
Finally, add the fried cashews and raisins. Mix well and serve warm.
