Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables (Potato, Carrot, Okra, Drumstick) chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a large pot. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Let them splutter.
  2. Add gram flour and roast it until it turns golden brown.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Gradually add water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Add the mixed vegetables and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until the vegetables are cooked.
  6. Add tamarind pulp and cook for another 5-10 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
