Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken breast, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  4. 4. Add marinated chicken and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. 5. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
