Indian Tapioca Stir Fry Recipe (Kappa)

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Tapioca peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 nos Green chilies slit
  • 1 nos Onion sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Grated coconut
  • 2 sprigs Curry leaves

Instructions 

  1. 1. Boil the diced tapioca in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add cumin seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté for a minute.
  4. 4. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  5. 5. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  6. 6. Add the boiled tapioca and salt. Mix everything together and cook for a few more minutes.
  7. 7. Finally, add grated coconut and mix well. Serve hot.
