Ginger-Garlic paste

Turmeric powder

Red chili powder

Garam masala
to taste

chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add chopped Tinda and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat until Tinda is tender.
Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
