Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread white or whole wheat
  • 2 slices Ham
  • 2 slices Turkey
  • 2 slices Swiss Cheese
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2. Assemble the sandwiches by placing a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, and a slice of Swiss cheese between two slices of bread.
  3. 3. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides well.
  4. 4. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Serve hot, optionally with a dusting of powdered sugar and a side of jam.
