Main Ingredients
- 2 large Onions sliced into rings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 large Egg beaten
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Dip onion rings into the flour mixture until well coated.
In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Dip the floured rings into the milk mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Fry the onion rings a few at a time for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
