Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 800 g Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 handful Fresh Basil, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the canned tomatoes, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir well.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the fresh basil just before serving.
