Ingredients

  • 2 medium Bitter Gourds sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. Add sliced bitter gourd and sauté for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Cook on low heat until the bitter gourd turns crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot as a side dish.
