Southern Pimento Cheese Recipe

- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 jar diced pimentos, drained about 4 ounces
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, diced pimentos, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Stir until well combined and creamy.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve with crackers, on sandwiches, or as a dip.
