- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 unit Egg
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Combine the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the butter mixture.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
Place cookies on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are golden.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
