Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and honey. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add grated ginger and minced garlic to the saucepan. Stir well.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the saucepan.
  4. Continue to cook the sauce, stirring constantly, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
