  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 4 Large eggs room temperature
  • 1 cup Whole milk room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
