Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 3 cups Russet potatoes diced
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 cups Kale chopped
- 1 medium Onion diced
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add the diced onion and cook until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to low, stir in the cooked sausage, heavy cream, and kale. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
