Indian Chicken Saag Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Breast cut into cubes
- 200 g Spinach fresh or frozen
- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1 cup Tomato Puree
- 1 cup Water
- to taste Salt
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
Add chicken cubes and cook until they are no longer pink.
Add turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir well.
Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
Add spinach and water. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Blend the mixture to your desired consistency. Return to pan and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Season with salt to taste. Serve hot with rice or naan.
