Indian Lasooni Dal Palak Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal
- 2 cups Spinach chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 6 cloves Garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- to taste Salt
- 2 cups Water
Rinse the moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
In a pot, add the soaked dal, turmeric powder, and water. Cook until the dal is soft.
In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
Add chopped garlic and sauté until golden brown.
Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
Add the cooked dal to the spinach mixture. Add red chili powder and salt to taste. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
